This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class of 28 students is composed of many talented diverse learners who deserve to have access to relevant school resources.
With a Scholastic News subscription my students will have access to weekly magazines (both print and digital) with current events and other engaging articles.
My students would use this subscription every Friday during their Social Studies block. Students would be able to read this as a whole group, answer questions about what they’ve read, and then also form their own opinions about it and then discuss that in a small group environment.
