This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are very excited to have the opportunity of having our classroom reward system be geared towards the responsibility of having a class pet. Our bearded dragon will be used to teach students about the importance of responsibility/routine while simultaneously teaching students about reptiles and desert habitats. We are still hoping to receive a terrarium, and lights in order to make our classroom inviting to our Bearded Dragon. Our classroom is ecstatic to have a class-pet put into our daily routine and we have been working very hard to prepare for our Beardies arrival!
