Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been a proud teacher in my school for over 20 years. What I love about my students is the diversity of our classroom. We learn so much from each other. Space is an issue, as I have a class of 29 students. This makes it hard to easily organize supplies, and have enough for all students.
Having these items will help my students to have more space to have easy access to daily needed books, and binders.
We also have a low supply of headphones, six per classroom. Having a class set will ensure students will not have to miss out on opportunities where they can use their technology.
I usually spend a lot of my own money to help address the needs in my classroom, but this can be difficult. The needs of my students are very important to me, and I would love to be able to give them all the things they need.
