Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The graduating 8th grade class has demonstrated resilience this school year. In a few short months, they will wrap up a middle school experience that has been wrapped in a pandemic known as COVID-19. Most of their entire middle school career has been about resilience and persistences. My students have had to persist through the transitions of in-person to virtual, to hybrid, to virtual, to in-person, back to virtual, then finally in person.
My student deserve a sending off with celebration.
Help me give my students some positive memories of our school as they celebrate graduation with Class of 2022 keychains, lanyards, and bracelets. The motivational pencils will be a symbol that represents their resilience and remind them to persist through their next journey in high school.
