Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of this project is to provide my students with treasure box toys such as fidget toys, fun pencils, stickers, reading toys such as finger tracking puppets, special pens and so much more. Our class treasure box was given to me by a retiring co-worker and the toys are beginning to disintegrate and are not in great condition. Some are very outdated such as tarnished book marks. My goal is to refresh and replenish my students treasure box by getting more current prizes for them to earn. Students will benefit from this project by being able to earn points by demonstrating class rules as well as showing improvements in their work habits and behavior. This teaches students how to be responsible and how to be accountable for their actions! It also allows them to be rewarded when achieving their goals! The learning outcome of this is that students are able to be rewarded for positive behaviors allowing students to learn responsibility and expectations!
