This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently have students that require text to speech/oral accommodations, but I don't have a classroom set of headphones they can use. During our most recent test, some students weren't able to use these accommodations at their preferred volume setting as they were concerned about disrupting the other students testing.
Without headphones, my students aren't able to fully participate in blended learning during class time without disrupting those around them.
It also limits my ability to differentiate learning for different students who are in different grade levels, have different needs, but are found sharing the same classroom.
