This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ensuring that students have access to Chromebook chargers in the classroom is crucial for their effective participation in class activities. In cases where they may have forgotten or broken their own chargers, having spares available ensures uninterrupted workflow, promoting seamless engagement with digital learning materials. Additionally, the provision of colored paper, and ink cartridges for printing emergencies or color-coded graphic organizers will significantly enhance the visual and interactive aspects of their learning experience. This resource availability not only caters to practical needs but also fosters a dynamic and engaging classroom environment, making a positive impact on their learning outcomes.

The inclusion of an easel displaying daily objectives and Connecticut Common State Standards serves as a valuable instructional tool.

Unlike the limitations posed by the withdrawn whiteboard, the easel will be placed in front, ensuring that these critical elements are visible to all students, optimizing their understanding and alignment with educational goals. With flu season underway, the necessity for tissues and disinfectant wipes becomes paramount, creating a hygienic space that minimizes the risk of illness transmission among students. Furthermore, as students embark on a book club unit, the ability to take notes on Post-it notes facilitates collaborative discussions, allowing students to share their thoughts and reactions with peers. Replenishing dried-up Expo markers and ensuring a surplus of pencils further supports a conducive learning environment, where students have the necessary tools readily available to excel academically. This DonorsChoose project aims to empower my students, who, despite facing economic challenges, exhibit remarkable dedication and resilience in their academic pursuits.
