The color lanterns would be used to section out the students groups. They would be grouped by color. I will hang the lanterns over the tops of each group to let them know what color they are, and then all that groups supplies would be in that corresponding color.
I would use the class borders to help section out my wall of white boards, and I would use the magnetic tape to attach them to my whiteboard.
This way the students will not get overwhelmed by too much information in just one place, but it can be sectioned out by subject. This will help the students stay focused and know what exactly we are working on.
By having things color coordinated will help students with self-starting and with being able to know where they should be looking at for the information that we are working on at the moment.
The lucky ducks and the finger pointers are to help student engagement throughout the day and the help give lots of students different chances to help throughout the day.
