Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are excited to be back learning in person, but our school has struggled to provide adequate technology to students since the pandemic. Many students have broken devices that we have been unable to replace due to budget cuts. To meet student needs, we are trying to build a class set of computers. These Chromebooks will ensure that every student has access to technology in class. Also, I will also be able to temporarily loan computers to students who need one to help them learn at home.
Not only do Chromebooks allow students to access amazing curricular resources, but they also provide vital support for our Multi-Lingual Learners and Students with Disabilities.
We will use these computers daily to help make learning more engaging and accessible.
