Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since the pandemic began, we worked hard to ensure that all students in our school community have access to the technology they need to learn. This year, we are thrilled to be back together in person, but we have struggled to replace broken technology and are still waiting on new devices due to supply chain issues.
We have a computer shortage and don't have any extra computers in our Global History class for students who don't have one or have forgotten theirs at home.
Not only do Chromebooks allow students to access amazing curricular resources, but they also provide vital support for our Multi-Lingual Learners and Students with Disabilities. These three Acer Chromebooks will allow us to have extra devices to ensure that every student has 1-1 access on days when we use computers in class. Also, I will also be able to temporarily loan computers to students who need one to help them learn at home.
