Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My group of second graders are eager to learn. They love to participate in discussions and enjoy listening to a great read aloud. My students come from homes where families are working many hours and do not have the time or materials to read together.
Having a carpet in the classroom will allow these children to enjoy a story in a comfy place.
It will give them a different scenery other than their desk, where they sit for majority of the day. It will also be utilized for lessons and will surely give students a a comfy place to choose from when working independently. Thank you for supporting my students needs.
