I teach in a public school where students love to give love. I teach in a school district where students are intrinsically motivated to create. This is the reason I chose the music and woodwind set for my class. So they can create sounds and rhythm. However, my students often need a person to direct that creativity, and I have a resource program to help assist them in this process, however, our students do not have any of the percussion instruments.
My students are so special because they can see pile of blocks and make bridges.
My students are able to see nothing and make it into something. Which is why I am asking for the Bots so they can learned to build and use strategy with computers. They see the upside of down, and even though from poverty they are rich in love and creativity.
My students are special because the motivate me to come to work every day to be the best that I can be. Their open hearts help me love, and the fact that they are young and willing to learn allows me to help them learn how to express that love.
My Project
My students love music, art, and technology. The materials that I have asked for will help them explore varieties of beats rhythms and music in the classroom while learning. We have several units this year that focus on all aspects of learning through music with instruments. We had a small Springboard class last year that helped us start this process and the students loved it. I would like to bring this love for learning through music back for the new school year.
This year our class will have a STEAM focus and the materials asked will help us start our process in increasing student curiosity and allowing them to problem solve.
The robotics will help the students begin to think critically, and make decisions on how to build structures and how to program bots and make them move.
