This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are an amazing group of diverse learners in an urban setting. Our group has many students who speak another language other than English (ELL) and others with various special needs.
They are a very inquisitive bunch!
They cannot wait to see what’s next! They enjoy learning in many different ways and love anything that involves hands-on learning. Learning by doing often works wonders for this group of students.
Imagine students walking into a classroom, grabbing their kits, and using their knowledge of circuits to actually make things happen!
This will engage the students right from the start!
No longer will my students have to be passive learners. They will now be fully immersed in active learning regardless of their academic level. All of my students will have a chance to be successful with these activities.
