I teach gifted students in grades first through fifth in eleven different elementary schools. The schools are all in Kanawha County, West Virginia. My students come to my class for enrichment.
K'NEX Education Maker's Kit, Manipulative Marble Run Set, and Thinking Outside of the Box Workbooks are all supplies that will encourage my students to think outside of the box.
Thinking outside of the box activities will help improve my students problem-solving skills, increase productivity, and improve their communication skills. Being able to think outside of the box is good when solving a new problem, as we would not have the knowledge or experience to do it. Thinking outside of the box can be also helpful to consider the way we do things or the way we solve common problems and find better ways of doing it.
