My students need littleBits and Makey Makey electronic kits to help deepen their understanding of circuits and make them creators.

My Students
My students are awesome individuals. We are a Title 1 school in a Title 1 District. Our school is a small community school, in a small rural community. Our fifth grade is departmentalized, and I teach all 60 wonderful fifth grade students at my school.
You can't teach today's learners the way we did yesterday.
Students need the opportunity to be exposed to technology, and tools to help them better understand the technological world around them. I want to have innovative tools in my classroom that will help my students grow, and strive to be the best that they can be.
My Project
These materials will make electronics come to life. We do traditional circuit building with wires and light bulbs which is fun, but having these tools will take that fun to a whole new level. Students deserve to have new technology and learn both with it and from it. Having the modern tools will open the doors of possibility to my students.
Donations will help my students become excited about circuits.
Traditional circuits are great, but with these kits students will deepen their understanding, work on problem solving and do some pretty neat things. They'll be more excited and engaged which will lead to further discovery.
