My Project
I love teaching kindergarten because it is a time of incredible growth, discovery, and excitement. My students come to school full of energy and curiosity, ready to learn and explore the world around them. One of my greatest joys as a teacher is creating an environment where young learners feel safe, supported, and enthusiastic about learning every single day.
To help set the stage for a successful year, I’m asking for support to help build strong, engaging morning routines in my classroom.
I am requesting a classroom calendar, a “letter of the day” chart, and Handwriting Without Tears sample letters. These tools will help establish daily structure and provide hands-on, developmentally appropriate ways for students to learn foundational literacy skills. These routines will set a positive tone for each day and also help build confidence and independence.
The materials I am requesting will be used every day from the very first day of school to the last—and for many years to come. They will help bring consistency, excitement, and joy to our morning meetings while supporting essential early learning skills. Your support will make a lasting impact on my students by helping me create a classroom where routines are meaningful, learning is engaging, and every child feels ready to succeed.
