This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of diverse needs that are met daily in our special needs classroom. Visuals play a crucial role in enhancing student's understanding and engagement. My students love coming to school and learning with their friends and teachers.

Each morning we spend about 30 minutes together having "circle" time.

During circle time we sing, dance, talk about our day, and do calendar math.

I requested a variety of items to make circle time more fun and exciting such as a new calendar, visual schedule, and attendance chart.
