Help me give my students the opportunity to learn more during story time through the use of puppets. We would like a set of newborn baby dolls for the dramatic play area.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, ready to learn, bright, thoughtful, energetic and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, engaging and challenges activities that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try and explore in activities. They take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
The student in the class will be able to understand language more through the use of the materials ordered. For example through the visuals of the puppets for the story. They will enjoy the story and the visuals that go with it to understand what the story is really about. It will help them by exposing them to stories that they have heard and also to new ones. We plan to utilize the puppets during our circle time to retell the story and engage the students. We have read stories using puppets and they seem to enjoy them and we would like to continue with other stories using puppets. We also would like the set of newborn dolls to enhance our dramatic play area.
