My Students
My elementary music students are talented, excited, and motivated by the arts! These particular students are involved with the magical "Disney Musicals in Schools" program, which has changed the face of our school for the better! The students love music, art, and drama, and are particularly excited by the new music room and art room at our school. We have a huge student body with approximately twelve hundred kids, all of whom benefit from "Disney Musicals in Schools" in various ways. They are students in pre-kindergarten through grade five, general education students, language learners, and many special education students. Families at our school come from many countries, including Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Mexico, China, India, and more. Each individual student has something special to offer as far as culture and background. It is pretty amazing!
My Project
This project includes beautiful costumes and props that are essential to telling the story of our school musical, Cinderella, Kids, including skirts, ball gowns, and other magical attire! This year, our students are particularly talented and we want to make them feel special, like the real actors and actresses they are! Your donation will be matched by Disney Musicals in Schools so every donated dollar will be doubled, which is quite an amazing opportunity! We are really hoping to get this project funded as soon as possible so that the materials are delivered before our show in June. Thank you so much for considering this project.
