My Students

My students are excited about technology in our class.

I teach in a small Title I school in Georgia.

My students come to school excited to learn each day, although they face many challenges at home. I teach in a low socio-economic school and many of the students I teach do not have any technology in the home to use for academic purposes. By providing my students with additional technology in my classroom, they will be afforded additional opportunities to connect with this technological world.

My Project

My students will be able to use the Chromebooks to become a member of the google society. They will be able to download apps that we use in the classroom as resources. By providing students with the chance to become more technology savvy, they will be able to meet the requirements to fulfill our state standards by being able to surf the Internet, complete interactive activities in math and save their personal files on Google drive.

The donations made to this project will help my students in several ways.

Most of the technology we already have is outdated and does not work at a high level in order for my students to be successful with their interactive assignments. These Chromebooks will provide my students several opportunities to be successful with online materials.
