My Students
My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn. They love coming to art class. My students have very creative minds. My students live in an urban community.
My school is a Title I school, but that does not prevent my students from learning about and being curious about art!
They love different art experiences. We try to use as many different media as we can fit into our program. These various types of media include painting, drawing and the use of technology.
My students enjoy art. It is the best time of their day!!
They are enthusiastic and are usually up for any art challenge!
My Project
These Chromebooks would enhance my students learning by giving them choice and voice in the digital age. Digital storytelling opens up an entirely new world of learning to students.
Students who participate in digital story telling are more engaged in and take ownership of their their own learning.
It is the perfect student driven activity in which students collaborate, share responsibilities and work on becoming proficient with 21st century skills.
The creativity and hard work that these students put into digital story telling is truly astonishing to witness. Their products are amazing and they are so very proud of what they accomplish!
