My students are a wonderful group of bright, hard working and inquisitive kids. They know how to use the Internet to locate information about their favorite music groups, watch videos, etc., however, many of them do not know how to effectively research academic information.
My students need to learn how to effectively research information from the Internet.
Therefore, my students need Chromebooks in our classroom in order to learn how to research and cite that evidence to either support or negate their ideas.
My Project
Students love to use the Internet, however not all of the students know how to use the Internet correctly to research information. Our school has a few Chromebook carts that we can check out once or twice a month, however they are not available to use on a daily basis. Thus, limiting the amount of time for students to learn and be instructed on how to perform research and cite evidence correctly.
My students need to have Chromebooks in the classroom on a daily basis in order to research information as their questions arise.
Students are full of questions and I want them to know how to find their answers effectively either via Internet research or through their own investigations.
