Mrs. Gardner from Bainbridge GA is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need Chromebooks and management consoles to help with research projects and day-to-day lessons in my classroom.

A typical day in my classroom is filled with hands-on activities, and 3rd grade excitement. With the ever-changing world of technology, my students need updated technology to keep up. We will be taking the GMAS online this year and do not have enough Chromebooks.

We have also changed our reading program. We have adopted Journeys and it requires our students to test online. They are also able to type stories and find articles about real-world situations to help increase their knowledge of the real world.
My students will be able to access Google classroom assignments daily instead of once of week in the lab. This also cuts down on the number of worksheets and allows students to work in Google applications and save their work to their Google drives. Daily access to technology can only help them to succeed in third grade. Our reading program, Journeys, also offers various opportunities for my students to interact online with their reading activities.
The donation of these Chromebooks will allow my students daily access to technology and online assignments that will increase rigor and student engagement in my classroom.
