My Students
My 2nd graders are resilient, kind, and so excited to learn. I have 16 learners from diverse backgrounds. Even though their schooling has been disrupted and looked different than normal they are extremely positive- they tell me everyday how happy they are to be at school. They especially love science and math. My students work together to solve problems and investigate the world.
My Project
We live in an increasingly technological world and I want my classroom to reflect the skills my students will need outside of the school walls. These Chromebooks will be used for students to extend their learning in math, reading, science and social studies. I’ll be able to formatively assess student learning in real time and differentiate lessons for them based on their abilities and skills.
For some of my students, this is the first full year they are back in the classroom since 2020.
I want to incorporate the tools and skills that they learned from distance learning last year in our in-person classroom.
