Learning is no longer just a typical paper and pencil task, it is an experience created through hands on activities and exploration. I love to make learning interactive and engaging in as many ways as I possibly can! Technology really helps learning come alive for students!
I work in a Title I school where I teach 20 amazing young second grade thinkers!
My students often come to school often without a backpack or uniform and I know that home life isn't always the best for my students. I want to give them as many experiences as I can that they may not get otherwise. I can provide several of these experiences through technology!
My Project
My project would assist students in having more amazing learning opportunities with technology. Having an additional five Chromebooks in my classroom would allow more students to be able to use technology at a time and for them to become technology experts in the classroom.
Students would use the Chromebooks for a plethora of subject areas including: math, science, language arts, and social studies!
Students could complete lessons, visit websites, complete research projects and presentations, and type writing. There are endless possibilities for technology to impact a classroom and engage all learners. I am excited to create an even more engaging learning environment for students by incorporating more technology!
