My Students
My students are amazing! They are excited to learn and work hard to excel beyond the limitations of their neighborhood.
They love to learn, create and play and are inspiring to all who work with them!
My second graders all come from low-income areas and often do not have the necessary resources at home to extend the school day beyond our classroom. They are hard workers and do everything they can to be successful! My second graders are absolutely fabulous kids!
My Project
Having new Chromebooks in our classroom will increase our student to technology ratio and will allow us to retire a few old laptops that have keys missing and are no longer working properly. These Chromebooks will allow my students to conduct their own research individually, with partners, and as groups. By having technology at their fingertips the world of science and math will be brought to life without me having to be the only person doing the research. My students are so ready to find answers to their own curiosities! I have several budding scientists that cannot wait to explore matter, earth's changes, and all things space related!
