My Students

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world", Nelson Mandela. My students have a lot of creativity and I'd love to be able to transfer their amazing ideas into written word. To facilitate this, I am in need 3 Chromebooks.

I teach Fourth grade on the Northwest Side of Chicago.

My students come from many different countries, cultures, and walks of life. My students are very eager writers. They are writing, writing, writing all the time. They want to share their stories with the world.

My Project

These 3 Chromebooks will be used for project in writing workshops, Science and Social Studies.As of now students need to share Chromebooks for projects. The additional Chromebooks will make working on an individual project easier.

I want to bring real world application to Science and Social Studies.

Making sure all three 4th grades have access to Chromebooks will help in this process.

The writing workshops will teach the students the process of writing, including drafting essays, editing their own work and sharing their writing with other classmates. As the students learn how to write, they will become more confident in their ability to write and thus will write more.
