My students are in a full-time, ICT, second-grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
I am requesting Chromebooks for classroom use. It is so important for children to learn how to use technology. These Chromebooks will allow our students to complete research assignments in science and work on typing their assignments. Unfortunately, we do not have access to computers in the classroom. These Chromebooks will provide a great opportunity for all the children. They will be using them during writing and during math centers. They will be able to edit and revise their work with the Chromebooks and practice math facts with programs online.
Please help us!
Young children are so creative and receptive to new information, and technology is one of the most powerful ways to engage all learners. Your donation will help all of our students. Thank you so much for your support!
