This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are inspirational. They challenge me with insightful questions, they have a love for learning and exploration, they support each other and work together to solve problems.

I love working with my students and watching the grow and develop as learners and future leaders.

However, at my school many students have to endure the hardships of poverty. They understand what it's like to have to learn without technology, without air or heat. I try to provide a meaningful learning experience for my students in order to develop them into lifelong learners but I find myself wishing I had the materials to provide them with more.

My Project

In my classroom I would love to be able to have students use technology to complete their lessons. Unfortunately we don't have computer access. We need Chromebooks to elevate the instruction and get our students in the digital age. With these Chromebooks students will be able to learn how to use word processing, web browsing, and other project based applications .

Students can use this technology to access valuable learning resources, create and share projects.

Additionally students will be exposed many basic computer functions like typing, dragging and dropping, copying and pasting to assist them in many future career choices.
