My Students
Students in my class are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. I am the 4th Grade teacher at a K-5 elementary school in San Francisco. In this urban setting, my diverse group of students are joyful learners and everyone brings something unique. We have a wide range of languages, socioeconomic status, ethnicities, and race. With your support, students can access education in a more rigorous, dynamic, and contemporary way.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge and learning opportunity.
Artists, mathematicians, readers, writers, scientists, and superheroes- your donations will help them achieve and see success academically and socially.
My Project
The use of laptops and technology is a weekly activity in my classroom, especially for math, coding, learning typing skills, and in math. However, we do not have classroom laptops and it requires checking out laptops from the school. We have 40 laptops for a school with over 400 students!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase my student's access and participation in technology, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement in today's highly technical and competitive world.
Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
