My students need to have access to sufficient technology. As the capital city of New Jersey, it seems we get the lowest funding in the state. The three chromebooks would be a great improvement!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
All of my classes are filled with enthusiastic students who are eager to learn. Everyday we are faced with some mathematical problem that we use realistic skills to solve. We like to call it our mathematical approach.
Some challenges that we face in my classroom are not having enough technology for each student and not being able to print out resources for our projects.
Even though we face this, we still remain positive and keep positive energy at all times. We would like to have a unique classroom that we come to everyday that we can consider home.
My Project
Trenton City School District has a high enrollment rate. However, these increasing rates with minimum supplies do not average technology for each student. We would like to benefit from technology, Chromebooks like everyone else. My students come to school everyday with smiles on their faces even though the conditions are not the best. The city is deteriorating right before our eyes. We need something that will bring light to our classrooms. This could even be considered a distraction from what is going on in the city. We need Chromebooks to start with. Currently over 500 students are enrolled at the 9th grade academy. We may have 100-150 technology stations including desktops and laptops. We are appreciative of whatever we receive.
