Chromebooks for 9th Graders

Help me give my students access to essential learning technology by funding 3 classroom Chromebooks, 3 chargers, and a laminator for teachers to make student-inspired reference materials.

My Project

In the morning rush, has your student ever left behind an important item for school at home? Have you ever gotten a call or text asking you to deliver said item in the middle of the school day? Although 9th graders will be handwriting many of their essays to start the writing process, eventually every essay will be typed on a school-issued Chromebook. Occasionally, lessons will call for the use of student Chromebooks and, in my experience, some students will forget to bring theirs day to day, or theirs won't be working or charged. This means some students will have extra work to complete outside the class or may struggle to finish the assignment alongside their peers. Anything you can contribute to fund three extra Chromebooks for 9th grade English classes (totaling 120 students) is a contribution to keeping students engaged and on track. The laminator requested is an extra that will help 9th grade teachers generate student-inspired classroom posters and anchor charts that will be lasting. Thank you!
