Chromebooks for 3rd Grade

My students need chromebooks to do all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment.

My Students

I am so grateful to have a classroom full of diverse and eager learners. My students come from many different cultural backgrounds. About 80% of my students are on free or reduced lunches. My students walk in to the classroom with a smile on their face and ready to learn every single day. I am also privileged to work with students who have special needs, such as autism and learning disabilities among others. I know that my students are not exposed to many books unless they take them home from school.

My Project

My students need the chromebooks to facilitate their learning. We do not have a computer lab in the building. This would help with small group work or individual students to help with reading and math skills.

The students would have the ability to use the chromebook in the classroom.

The students also enjoy learning more about the capabilities of using google classroom. Students benefit from learning 21st century skills. Some my students do not have the technology at home. This would allow them the use of technology in the classroom. Chromebooks would be a great addition for my students to continue practicing their technology skills.
