Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At my school, we have exceptionally talented and dedicated students who are willing to go the extra mile to have dynamic and challenging music education. Our students may face very difficult situations at home and around them, but their willingness to persevere and their tenacity has set them apart. This is a group of exceptional music students.
Our music students have gone on to do great things in the community and in higher-level music education.
We are honored to know that many of our scholars have received scholarships and high placement due to their work in music. We are very proud of their work and are excited to see what great things they will do this year. Music has done monumental things for our most at-risk youth. Let's help them continue their great work!
My Project
At this moment, it is imperative that we supply our students with the resources to work remotely. Though we are confident that we will return to the building at some point this year, there appears to be no end insight to hybrid and online learning. Our students need to have the resources to participate in class wherever they are.
With these Chromebooks, our students will be able to attend classes and learn remotely and continue to study in hybrid scenarios.
Without them, many of our students will be unable to go to class, to communicate with their teachers and access essential online resources. We need to diligently put Chromebooks in our students' hands so they can write music online, practice math in real time with their teachers and work closely with writing experts through online communication. Our students are vulnerable to being left behind without these computers.
