My Students
As a teacher in a school that serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through third grade with different learning styles and levels, it is difficult to actively engage all students. I teach 23 second grade students who are eager to learn new skills and practice them until they are infused into their brains.
The students in my class are excited to accept new challenges with vigor and strive to be the best they can be.
My students love to practice new skills using engaging books, materials and Chromebooks. With the assistance of these positive and meaningful learning experiences, students will strive to reach academic excellence and goals.
My Project
Students love to work with computers. As you know, most children love to interact with any piece of technology. Any educational experience with technology will improve retention and promotes active engagement.
The opportunities provided with the assistance of technology are endless and extremely engaging for students learning in the 21st century.
Students will use the Chromebooks every day during math and reading on a rotating schedule due to the limited supply of technology available in my classroom. The Chromebooks will also be utilized during writing, science, and social studies throughout each school week as students work to complete research and projet based learning. With the help of the new touch screen Chromebook, students with differing abilities will have the opportunity to complete activities independently .
