My Students
Every day is an adventure, and every day is a great day! My classroom is comprised of 21 diverse learners; 12 females and 9 males. Three students who are gifted and talented, five special education students, four students served by our Early Intervention Program, and nine inquisitive and eager students enter my classroom with a smile on their face each day.
My Title I students need to be provided the opportunity to make relevant, real-world learning connections preparing them to be successful in their future career.
Over 75% of my 21 students receiving Free/Reduced-price Lunch are ready to obtain experiences they have never incurred due to their low socioeconomic background.
My Project
Technology is entwined in most parts of our everyday lives; it affects how we shop, connect, socialize, and most importantly how we learn. As 21st Century learners, mt students need more opportunities to experience one of the most invaluable learning tools in today’s society - the internet. Integrating technology in the classroom will not only engage and meet the needs of diverse learners, but it will prepare my students for future careers.
Through the use of the chromebooks and technology, students will become more responsible by taking ownership of their learning.
Chromebooks will allow my students to communicate and collaborate on projects through Google Education Apps such as email, Google Classroom, video-conferencing, and other educational apps offered. Chromebooks make learning real and exciting, opening the door for great learning!
