it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love my 6th graders! They are friendly, hard-working, resilient kids who want to do well. They are excited to be back in school and ready to learn- even in the new normal. We are going to tackle the unknown together!
My Project
I think we can all agree that spring of 2020 wasn't what any of us had in mind, as educators, to end the school year. Our students were brilliant and resilient learning new technology and rising to the challenge of digital learning. Now that we are back in school, we can be sent to digital learning from home at any time. Our school made a significant investment to have 1:1 access to technology--Chromebooks for each student! This is amazing!
Each Friday, our students will be learning virtually from home, and some will need to take a Chromebook home to be able to complete their assignments.
The sleeves I am requesting will allow students to do so without the worry of having the Chromebook unprotected and dropping it. It will also give students a safe place to store cords and devices when not in use. Since students and their parents are responsible for damage to the Chromebooks, this will help protect the computers and the families who rely on them.
