Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are having a hard time visualizing math concepts.
I work in a school in a school where most of the kids are in poverty and can't afford something like a laptop without your help.
We could really use these Chromebooks to show the students real world examples of how they can use math in their everyday lives, no matter where they live.
My Project
Having these two Chromebooks in the classroom will make math come to life for these students. In algebra, we can show them real world examples of how it is used and in geometry, nothing would show the three dimensional shapes quite like these laptops would. It would bring the concepts to life.
It is so important for some of these kids who have nothing to be able to use a device like this to make math come to life.
It will make the class so much more exciting for them and something they will remember forever.
