Chrome Book: How It Helped Me Graduate High School
Help me give my students 2 HP SB Chromebooks so that they are able to completed their work online and can meet graduation deadline.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
There are so many things I love about my students; their willingness to learn, their drive to be successful even when all odds are against them, their silly comments when we have class discussions, and the list goes on. My students are the true definition of what determination is, especially during these trouble times we are facing as a global community.
It's been two weeks since my students and I have seen each other due to COVID-19, but regardless of this my students have showed perseverance and the willingness to continue their education even if that means to do a bit more work on their end.
Just yesterday, I had a chat meet with one of my students so we could figure out how to submit completed work to me. Our school hasn't transitioned 100% to online instruction yet, but we're working the best we can with what we have. My student and I chatted for over two hours trying to figure out how to find the best possible way to submit work, after multiple emails and constant internet failures my student and I were able to figure out how to minimize the stress in turning in her work!
My Project
If I am granted both chrome books requested, my 2 seniors that I oversee on my roster will be able to meet their deadline to graduation this year. My students don't posses a computer of any kind at the moment at home. With this whom national pandemic we have faced, unfortunately my student's academic progress is being hindered.
These students have had to overcome struggles in their past, many of which include having to postpone their graduation year to a further date due to lack of resources and other personal means.
If these chrome books are granted, my student's will not only be able to access work online and complete it, but it will create a better means of communication between them and I during these troubled times.
