My Project
My beginning instrumentalists are soon to be ready for their next step - intonation! Students across my band and strings classes will benefit from this project because chromatic tuners are a tool that musicians use on a daily basis. These tuners will help in my teaching of intonation to my students and will allow them to begin tuning and self-correcting on their own.
The tuner is a tool that will help students improve their intonation on their instrument.
Working on intonation is an intermediate skill that students need time and practice to master. With these tools, students will be introduced to a new way of thinking and playing their instrument.
