My Students

My students are an amazing group of kids. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth-grade school located in rural California. It serves 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

Our school has a strong academic and athletic culture.

I want to maintain our strength in these areas by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.

My Project

I am requesting loom kits, diamond sticker crafts, and mosaic molds.

All the items requested in this project will be used for Christmas gifts and for our classroom store.

The looms will be used to create a craft for our parents for Christmas. Kids will get to practice color theory and composition when making their potholders.

The tile trays will be used to practice color and patterning, as well.

The diamond craft kits will be put into our classroom store. We use a token economy and students would be able to use their classroom bucks to purchase these kits.
