My Students

My students are in a GSRP pre-kindergarten program. I have 16 students. Our school is in an urban, low-income area, and all the students in the PreK program qualify for free meals. The children love coming to school and are excited to see what we have planned for them every day.

The children benefit from the many opportunities they have to play and work together.

They are very social and creative. They love books, technology, and the many manipulatives we have in our classroom.

My Project

The soap is needed for our preschool bathroom to keep our hands clean everyday. We go through a bottle of soap daily and this will help greatly. The books will be a great Christmas gift for my students. They will enjoy reading the story with a family member. I know they love new books and especially ones that come from school.

Reading the book is a great way for my students to practice their color recognition and literacy skills.
