My Project
I am excited about spending the month of December with my first grade class. We will be celebrating two different days. We will celebrate Grinchmas by taking part in many activities and fun. We will play the game pin the heart on the Grinch. We will also celebrate the Polar Express. We will make hot chocolate and pancakes on a griddle in the classroom while wearing our pajamas. We will watch the movie and each child will be given a bell to hang around their neck. The thin Christmas ribbon will be used to make these bells.
Holidays are for celebrating and making memories with friends.
We are also going to create a snowman. I will buy a fence post for every child in my classroom. I will paint them white with the paint and cut them at the exact height of each child in my classroom. We will tie a ribbon bow around the neck of the snowman. We will place the cozy socks on the top to make a hat. The snowman will be given eyes, a nose, a mouth, and buttons with each child's fingerprints. He or she will then take it home.
