My Project
I find any opportunity for my music students to perform. We do musicals, plays, choir performances, and showcases multiple times a year. We currently have very rundown, old, and unsafe risers for these events so the need to update and upgrade is significant.
The music program at my school is mostly self-funded and relies heavily on fundraising and donations to purchase items outside of the curriculum.
You can make a difference with your donation by helping my Title 1 school get new and safe risers for our performances. Risers are used in every production or event throughout the year. The risers that have been selected for this project are portable and easily storable for times they are not in use. Additionally, the risers can be used during academic awards ceremonies, evening events like Math & Science Night, or when guests come to present at our school.
My personal goal is to allow students opportunities to be involved in the arts as audience or cast members. Thank you for helping make the opportunities they have safer and more professional!
