My Project
Flexible seating empowers students to customize their learning environment. By allowing students to choose their seating and work location, they can select the setup that best suits their individual needs - whether it is sitting at a table, on the floor with a lap desk or perching on an inflatable yoga ball chair. Offering a variety of comfortable engaging seating options inspires students to take an active role in their learning and stay focused on their work.
Giving students the freedom to choose their seating arrangement and location will help them stay more focused and engaged.
To support my students' learning, I have selected a variety of seating options for them to try. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with different seating arrangements, such as lap desks, yoga mats on the floor, floor tiles, trays, yoga ball chairs, and table trays. By providing these choices, students can figure out which seating style works best or them individually. Offering students the autonomy to select their preferred seating not only builds their decision-making skills, but also helps them understand which environment allows them to learn most effectively.
