Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies I am requesting will benefit students in an ICT classroom. The materials will help foster student engagement and creativity. The class is full of budding fashion designers, artists, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
During our choice time, we are able to foster their expression creativity and higher order thinking.
The students are asked to choose a small group activity where they can plan, explore, engage, and have fun. I would like them to have fashion design, painting, STEM marble challenge stations. It is my hope that the requested resources, such as My First Fashion Designer, the Hands-On Multiplication Division Kit, and the Super Fun Marble Run, will allow them to continue and build upon the great work they have been demonstrating. The students have expressed an interest in creating clothing. They love making murals and connecting it back to the text.
