Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are extremely active. They love art and hands on activities. With our schedule, our lunch is at 11:20 and by 2:00 my students are hungry. Already this school year it has been a little difficult getting snacks for my students.
On Fridays we have chips as snacks as a reward for the week.
These snacks will help them stay focused for writing and social studies/science time. Sometimes when we do not have snack, they are saying how hungry they are, and I notice how it makes it difficult for them to focus on the assignments and lesson. So, these snacks will help us out a lot! These chips will also work as a reward system for rewarding students for being a STAR student throughout the week. Chips are seen as fun snacks!
