What I Love About My Students:

My Chinese Dual Language Immersion (DLI) students are curious, motivated, and eager to immerse themselves in a new language and culture.

They enthusiastically tackle the challenges of learning Chinese and are willing to step outside their comfort zones, teaching them an enriching experience.

How the Resources Will Help:

I'm requesting the karaoke machine and audio equipment. These tools make language practice fun and engaging, helping students improve pronunciation, expand vocabulary, and build confidence. Through singing popular Chinese songs, they will also gain a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture, making lessons both educational and enjoyable.

Goals for the Project:

"Chinese DLI Students Explore Chinese Language and Culture Through Karaoke" aims to boost language proficiency through a culturally immersive activity. Integrating karaoke into the curriculum will make language learning more dynamic and relatable, helping students experience the rhythm and nuances of Chinese in a real-world context. The project also aims to foster a lasting love for Chinese music and culture.
