This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are pre-teens and need lots of creativity to be engaged to learn. Colors and being comfortable are some things that attract them to my office. My students are funny, resilient, and eager to embrace everyday challenges. Having an inviting and happy space for them makes me happy, creates more opportunities for my role, and keeps them interested in learning and engaging. As a result, having an office that is welcoming to them will make a difference in their daily learning. These chairs will support comfortable and inviting seating for my students to participate in their social-emotional learning activities.
