My Project

The purpose of the center is to provide an area in my class with sensory and relaxation activities. Sensory toys and comfy floor pillow mats will create a kid friendly environment that invokes curiosity as well as self-reflection.

I will invite struggling students to use the center whenever they have a need.

This center will offer a safe place and privacy for students dealing with their big emotions.

I want students to learn positive ways to self-regulate. I want to establish a classroom culture that normalizes self-grounding and social emotional development.
